The Mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
About Big Sky Chapter of ABWA
The Big Sky Chapter is part of The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), a prestigious, national organization established for working women and women business owners. Our Chapter, located in Helena, Montana, was established in 1964.
We work to foster a community where women can be part of a national organization with a local connection, come together to gain career development and pursue business opportunities while being influenced and mentored by like-minded women who really care.
Our aim is to bring together businesswomen from diverse industries and to help them grow as they face new challenges.
Learning business and leadership skills is central to our community. ABWA provides a safe and supportive learning environment for members to take such steps so that they realize their full potential and gain maximum career growth and employability.
To that end, Big Sky ABWA invites local and area experts on a variety of business topics to speak to our group at monthly chapter meetings. These meetings take place the second Wednesday of the month at 5 pm at the Moonshine Grill in Helena Montana. The cost is $15 to cover your dinner.
In addition, we bring in a high-caliber national speaker to address important topics of the day. This event is open to the public and serves a major fund-raiser for our college scholarship program.
